Here’s to us!

For the longest time we’ve been deeply focused on creating and setting up materials and guidelines to achieve our goal of becoming an English school in Japan which goes against the status quo - getting the best results as quickly as possible.

Our very own books, created from the ground up - combined with bespoke complimentary materials and battle-tested methods to give students a solid foundation to build their English skills.

I guess that just about covers everything in the formula for a great school right? Wrong!

What about how people perceive us? Our image? Our brand?

Enter: our teacher and former advertising art director, photographer, copywriter and design specialist - Dan.

We engaged Dan to helm an all-encompassing project of school brand revitalization and renewal. From simple things such as English and Japanese copywriting along with outdoor signage, all the way through to a website, videos and photography capturing the essence of what we do with our classes.

Dan in-turn, called in more experts - namely: Mathieu Moindron, an artist and videographer hailing from France who has lived and worked in the creative industry in Japan for almost 16 years and; his wife Yurie Uchiumi: a specialist former Japanese advertising agency copywriter.

Despite beginning all of this directly in the middle of the largest pandemic the world has known; together, they have set in motion an evolving and highly ambitious but necessary overhaul of every aspect of the schools’ brand and image.

The images here are some highlights, outtakes and proud moments from the first year of our projects.

We want to thank all of our students, parents, partners, family and friends who have assisted in varying degrees to get us this far and who continue to support us going forward. Stay tuned for more updates in our Blog as our journey continues.
