Meet the Students
Hello! I’m Alison/Alissia. Today, I’m in Boston/Brighton.
Brighton is in the south/north of England. It’s on the beach/coast.
It’s a fantastic/fabulous town and it’s famous for/of the Royal Pavilion, the Pier and the beach.
But, I’m not on vacation/holiday. I’m here to visit/see an English Language School.
This is the school. It’s a big school, with about 350/450 students.

National Motor Museum, Beaulieu
Hi, I’m Louise and tomorrow/today I’m in Beaulieu.
Beaulieu is a small/big village. It’s in England but Beaulieu is a French/Japanese word.
In English we say, Beaulieu, but in French it’s Beau Lieu, beautiful/nice place.
And it really is beautiful. Beaulieu is in the New/Old Forest. It’s famous for its’ big house, old church/shop and fantastic motor museum.

A day in the Life of a Tour Guide
Hi, I’m Louisa, I’m in/on New York.
I’m from England but I’m here to learn about the life/day of a tour guide.
Peter Greenwald is a New York tour guide. He lives/live in a small apartment in Brooklyn.
He usually get/gets up at 8 o’clock. Peter has/have a big breakfast. He usually have/has fruit and cereal and sometimes he has/have an omelette.
He leave/leaves the house at 9 o’clock.

I Love London
Hi, I’m Helen, I’m from Newcastle in the north/south of England. Now/Today, I live in London.
I study/work here at UCL in Bloomsbury.
I love Bloomsbury. It has a lot of great places/cafes to eat and drink.
My favorite coffee shop is Zee Cafe in Tottenham Court Street/Road. It’s a very friendly coffee shop. The atmosphere is really relaxing. I think it has the best/worst coffee in London.

An Interesting Hotel in Oxford
Hi, I’m Greg, Welcome to Oxford/Cambridge.
I’m visiting the Old/New Bank Hotel.
It’s an unusual hotel in the center/south of the city.
The Old Bank in in the High/Main Street in the center of Oxford.
Today, it’s a luxury/beautiful hotel, but these/this buildings, from number 92 to number 94 have a very interesting history/story.
In the 16th Century they/it were part of Christ Church College.

Hi, I’m Patrick, and I’m a doctor/student.
I’m from Canterbury in the USA/UK. At the moment I’m studying/working at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, in Holland.
The University opened in 1913/1930, and today it has over 20,000/2000 students.
I’m studying here for one year/day. The study program is called the Erasmus program. The Erasmus University and the Erasmus Program.
So who/what was Erasmus?
